- Why would you have a current meth addict speaking to the kids and is my kid going to be safe?
Your child is definitely 100% safe. The reason why is because the day is going to come where your child is offered this stuff, the advice they will get will be from the person offering it to him. Seeing and hearing what this stuff does first hand is exactly the advice they need to hear; this memory will stick! This is a day they will remember and the deterrent they need.
- You say you teach them self-defence and how to retaliate, if necessary, are you teaching my child to punch someone in the face? This concerns me.
I teach boys and girls how to respond to bullies, I then teach them ways on how to diffuse a fight, from there I teach them how to hold a defence when being attacked and on from that I show them how to retaliate if it’s needed. The children tend to enjoy this activity and often I hear they ask their parents to start self-defence afterwards.
- It says my child is welcome to contact you anytime after the event if he has any questions, how does this work?
Absolutely! If your happy to do so, I encourage for you to pass on my number to your child and if they encounter challenges in life that they doesn’t know how to handle, they are more than welcome to call me for advice or just a sounding board.
